JOB SUMMARY:
This position, Back Office Manager (HCM), involves overseeing and improving back-office functions, providing management support, optimizing internal processes, and managing HR operations in a startup-like environment, coordinating with global offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and improve back-office functions, including administration, HR, accounting, legal, and procurement
- Provide reporting and decision-making support to the management team
- Manage and optimize internal approval workflows and authorization processes
- Handle escalations from various departments and drive issue resolution
- Develop, implement, and monitor internal policies and compliance standards
- Manage HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance review processes
- Oversee vendor management, contract review, and renewal procedures
- Establish and streamline operational processes in a startup-like environment
- Communicate and coordinate with HQ in Japan or other global offices
- Collaborate with the finance/accounting team on invoice management and budget tracking
REQUIREMENTS:
- Uni Graduated
- Female candidate, approximately 3244 years old.
- Business-level English proficiency; Japanese ability is a plus.
- Over 5 years experience of Back-office management in a multinational / foreign IT company (ideally 50+ employees).
- Experience in a startup environment is a strong plus.
- At the same time, must have solid experience with processes typical of mid-sized organizations, such as approval workflows, escalation procedures, and cross-department coordination.
