A. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Job Summary
The Business Development Manager/Director (Japanese native speaker) will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and achieving sales targets for our headhunt/human resource outsourcing services. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our client portfolio and driving revenue growth.
2. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to attract new clients, focusing on Japanese clients, within the headhunt/human resource outsourcing domain.
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs, and create tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Generate leads, cold call, and schedule meetings with key decision-makers to present our services and establish long-term partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and uncovering opportunities for additional services.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, meeting or exceeding monthly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to understand client requirements and provide exceptional service delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions, providing insights and recommendations to the management team.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and present reports to the management team on sales performance and market analysis.
B. REQUIREMENTS
- Japanese native speaker.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Economics, Languages or any related field.
- Proven work experience as Business Development Manager/Director in any industry, preferable in the headhunt or human resource outsourcing industry.
- Strong sales track record, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent knowledge of headhunt/human resource outsourcing services and the recruitment industry.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, with both verbal and written skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, with excellent negotiation and presentation skills (especially using presentation software)
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to work independently and teamwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, preferable in CRM software
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events
