Lead and manage testing teams in various projects to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide mentorship and training for junior QA engineers and testers.
Participate in the proposal and estimation phases of projects, providing insights on testing strategies and timelines.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Katalon, etc. (Karate is a plus).
Collaborate with project managers, developers, and clients to define test plans and strategies.
Track and report testing progress, issues, and risks.
Promote and ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and documentation.
Job requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Test Lead or similar role.
Strong communication skills in English (Japanese is a plus).
Hands-on experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Katalon; Karate is a plus).
Experience in test planning, test case design, and defect management.
Experience in collaborating with clients in a project proposal or presenting a proposal to clients.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments.
Relevant certifications such as ISTQB (CT-TAE is a strong plus).
