JOB SUMMARY:
This position involves performing daily accounting tasks, coordinating with outsourcing partners for financial statements and tax declarations, and ensuring compliance with Vietnamese laws. The role also includes checking monthly attendance, calculating and paying salaries, and preparing reports for DOIP, GSO.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing daily accounting tasks: following and checking on bank transactions, payment transfers, receivable and payable; issuing VAT invoices; collecting invoices; storing documents
- Coordinating with outsourcing partner for prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements in accord with VAS and all other prevailing laws including Tax laws, government laws, and other regulations
- Following, checking and ensuring all contracts with vendors and clients are consistent; keep track of all the contracts in filling properly
- Dealing with audit partner to prepare and issue audit report
- Preparing Tax declaration and finalization PIT and coordinating with outsourcing partner to prepare declaration and finalization of VAT, CIT, FCT…
- Coordinating with outsourcing partner to prepare Transfer Pricing report
- Being in charge of VAT refund
- Keeping policies and procedures up to date and in line with Vietnamese changes in laws related to tax and accounting etc. Develop new ones if required and ensure FS complies with company procedures related to finance/accounting
- Being in charge of checking monthly attendance sheet, calculation and payment monthly salary, SHUI
- Preparing all relating reports for submitting to DOIP, GSO (monthly, quarterly, annually)
- Perform other duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or other analytical disciplines
- Chief Accountant certificate is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax accounting, general accounting, or a similar position at Japanese or foreign company
- Advance knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards and the prevailing tax regulations
- Understanding of accounting procedures and standards
- Excellent in computer skills, especially MS Excel
- Capability in management reporting
- Excellent in English
- Honest, positive, carefully, patient and willing to learn
- Ability to adapt to constant change, multi-task, flexible and have ability to re-prioritize deliverables and resources
- Well-coordinating with others
