1. Job objectives
The architect is responsible for designing and developing architectural works at Thung May in a sustainable natural orientation connected to the forest. The work aims to create living spaces in harmony with nature, serving the conscious community, healing tourism activities and a non-ownership living model in the food forest.
2. Main tasks
Survey the current status of terrain, climate, soil, and ecology to propose suitable design solutions.
Participate in the master plan of living space in the spirit of forest architecture, minimalist and symbiotic with nature.
Design of projects such as community houses, meditation halls, health care spaces, eco-resorts, and homestays combined with experiential tourism.
Create concept drawings, perspectives, floor plans, basic and detailed technical documents.
Applying sustainable architectural solutions: using local materials (wood, bamboo, rammed earth...), taking advantage of natural ventilation, natural light, ecological drainage system, saving energy.
Coordinate with infrastructure, structural and interior engineers to complete technical designs and supervise construction according to design.
Work with local communities to develop housing models combined with tourism livelihoods, preserving regional cultural identity.
Participate in sharing the philosophy of mindful architecture with internal communities and partner groups.
