Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and experience working in a laboratory setting. The technician will be responsible for conducting various inorganic analyses, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality control standards. This role requires a proactive individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and specialized inorganic analyses using C/S analyzers, ICP-OES, XRF, and furnaces.
- Prepare and analyze samples following established protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Document and report results accurately, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
- Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during testing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new testing methods and procedures as needed.
- Participate in training and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, with hands-on experience in inorganic analysis.
- Proficient knowledge of laboratory equipment related to inorganic testing, including C/S analyzers, ICP-OES, XRF, and furnaces.
- Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B level or equivalent).
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques in the laboratory.
