Job Description

    1. Industry tasks:
    a. Merchandise Management:
    – Monitor staff to ensure:
    • Goods are fully replenished, in good condition and quality.
    • All merchandise displayed according to the plan or instructions from the Senior Manager/Purchasing and all prices between the displayed merchandise and the price tag are checked.
    • Price check on POS/SST and price tag change (if necessary) is completed before the supermarket opens.
    – Place orders with Suppliers and receive goods from Freight Forwarding department.
    - Manage inventory and re-order when out of stock. Return damaged goods.
    - Participate in monthly inventory under the direction of upper management.
    – Attend the inventory every two years as scheduled.
    b. Manage other activities:
    – Monitor staff to ensure:
    • Operating equipment, lighting and fixtures (gondola, trolley, rack, etc.) are in good condition.
    • Sales floor is kept clean and tidy.
    • Fire safety procedures are properly implemented.
    – Set POP (price list), perform POP display, check POP to ensure accurate and complete information.
    - Support opening/closing operations of supermarkets.
    – Check and verify discrepancies in inventory & sales figures after inventorying and reporting to upper management.
    c. Customer service:
    Provide good customer service to encourage increased sales. Be polite and listen to customer needs.
    – Inform and introduce to customers about new products, promotions, payment policies, exchange and return, etc.
    – Handling customer complaints or complaints caused by Employees and marketing agents.
    – Comply with the Company Rules on Customer Service (greeting, smiling, bowing and attitude towards customers).

    2. Sales and profits:
    - Coordinate with Suppliers to implement promotional programs.
    – Identify slow-selling and poor-quality items. Estimate customer needs and consult with purchasing department.
    - Maintain records of purchase and sales orders. Periodic reports on best-selling sales, promotional sales results, market surveys/competitor surveys.
    – Provide daily sales figures to Vendor's marketing staff.
    - Support cashier to exchange goods as required.

    3. Human resource management:
    - Planning and making work schedules, work schedules and assigning direct subordinates.
    – Ensure sufficient human resources in the business process in unexpected situations.
    - Responsible for employee performance.
    – Identify and reduce unnecessary work to increase employee productivity.
    - Regularly train and motivate subordinates in daily work.
    Identify potential staff for succession planning purposes.
    - Building and promoting teamwork spirit.

    4. Rules and Regulations:
    – Comply with all working procedures, policies, rules and regulations of the company.
    – Check, monitor, remind and guide employees and marketing staff to implement the rules and regulations.

    5. Other tasks:
    - In charge of closing floors when opening hours are over.
    - Support other departments when needed.
    – Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Direct Manager, Department Manager and Supermarket Director.
    II. JOB REQUIREMENTS
    - Intermediate or higher graduation
    - At least 1 year of management experience in the retail industry, especially related to the food industry (preferably fresh food)
    – Able to work in shifts (8 hours/day, 6 days/week), can work on holidays and New Year
    – Good analytical skills, customer service mindset, and office computer skills
    Ability to work in a team, manage a team and withstand high work pressure, have good sales and problem solving skills
