The quality manager will need to perform the following tasks and duties:
- Find out the requirements and quality of the product
- Conduct research on customer needs regarding product features.
- Find out what quality the product needs to be.
- Capture the standards in the most detailed way.
- Read design drawings and then provide data related to raw materials to produce services.
- Check, evaluate and monitor product quality.
Check the quality of input materials
- Conduct monitoring of input quantity of raw materials and the proportion of raw materials used.
- Eliminate defective materials and errors during the production process.
Check on sample product
- Conduct an assessment of the first sample products to ensure output quality.
- Propose improvement and corrective measures if the product is not guaranteed.
Check product profile
Each production process will need to be fully documented. This is called the product record. The quality control staff will need to check that the information in the product record is correct.
This job will help QC to grasp the quality of the product, the production status in time. This job will also help them to use the automated production system, optimize to achieve maximum productivity for the production process.
