Job Description
Based on Datasheet, Specification, Project documents, create a procurement list, contact appropriate Suppliers/Manufacturers to request a quote (RFQ);
Search and contact new suppliers to ensure competition and optimize purchasing costs;
Monitor and urge Suppliers to offer and provide goods promptly;
Evaluate supply progress (including EXW delivery deadline, shipping time, customs clearance...) in accordance with the overall progress of the project;
Evaluate and calculate the total cost of delivery to the construction site (at site), propose to choose a suitable supplier;
Draft and monitor Procurement Contracts (PO), Transportation Contracts;
Order tracking: delivery progress, packaging specifications, shipping method, delivery location to notify the shipping unit, implement/follow the payment and settlement process, and customs clearance;
Primary point of contact with relevant parties such as Manufacturers and Shipping Units to handle issues related to damage/errors upon receipt of goods;
Coordinate with relevant departments such as Projects and Engineering to evaluate suppliers in terms of quality, cost, and delivery schedule;
Work with Customers, handle arising problems.
