Job Description
Develop and implement a safety, health and environmental sanitation management system.
Organize and conduct safety knowledge testing for employees. Organize and participate in the work of the Safety Knowledge Testing Council, and guide leaders in drafting and reviewing labor safety procedures and guidance programs. Make an annual plan on safety work and implement the plan.
Check compliance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on labor protection and environmental protection, compliance with regulations, standards, norms and processes, implementation of decisions, directives, and implementation of plans. plans to improve working conditions, minutes of specialized inspection agencies, State inspection, measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
Check the correct organization and safe conduct of technological processes, the technical and operational condition of machines and equipment and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
Together with functional departments, draft measures to improve working conditions for employees and inspect the implementation of these measures.
Prepare recommendations on improving working conditions, preventing accidents and incidents (composing decisions, resolutions, directives, reports, notices).
Check compliance with the measurement schedule of air environment parameters, noise, vibration and other toxic factors.
Manage safety performance of employees and contractors, ensuring safety regulations are fully and properly applied.
Conduct analysis of potential risks in activities to come up with preventive measures.
Detect and promptly handle safety risks and issue warnings.
Participate in investigating occupational accidents that occur when operating equipment, and participate in drafting measures to prevent similar accidents from recurring.
Attend safety meetings with relevant government agencies.
