Implement the plan set by the sales manager including:
Learn and exploit customer needs
Develop and implement sales strategies
- Develop and implement business plans to increase sales of rice products in the domestic market.
Build and maintain customer relationships
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, while seeking new customers, distributors and organizations to expand the market.
Negotiation and contract signing
- Conduct negotiations on prices, payment terms and sign sales contracts.
Supply Chain Management
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure goods are delivered on time and product quality is guaranteed.
Report and track sales figures
- Prepare sales performance reports and maintain records of customer interactions to learn from.
Resolve customer complaints
- Handle customer issues arising during transactions regarding product quality and delivery time.
To perform these tasks well, sales staff in the rice industry need to have solid knowledge of the rice market, good communication and negotiation skills and analytical ability to identify business opportunities and develop long-term relationships with customers.
