- Job details:

• Conduct a site survey and collect data to support the design of a rooftop or ground-mounted solar power system.
• Prepare preliminary design plans, layout drawings, single line diagrams (SLDs), and calculate projected power capacity and electricity output.
• Use specialized software (PVsyst, SketchUp, AutoCAD) to simulate and design the system.
• Calculate and select equipment: inverter, solar panels, wiring, circuit breakers, electrical cabinets, and mounting frames to ensure both technical and economic feasibility.
• Prepare technical construction drawings (shop drawings) and as-built drawings.
• Support the engineering and project departments in quantity surveying, tender document preparation, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the construction team to resolve any technical issues that arise at the construction site.
• Research and update technical standards, technologies, and equipment in the field of solar energy.

- Job requirements:

• Graduated from university with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Energy, or equivalent.
• Possess knowledge of grid-connected/off-grid solar power systems. Thorough understanding of standards and regulations related to solar power design and installation.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of PVsyst and SketchUp is a plus.
• Possesses strong analytical and mathematical skills, is meticulous, and has a high sense of responsibility.
• Preference will be given to candidates with 13 years of experience in solar power design.
• Frank, honest, quick-witted, enthusiastic , and willing to take on tasks as required by the job with a high sense of responsibility.
• There is a possibility of traveling for business.
