- Determine the volume and calculate the cost for the project based on the design drawings, search and detect deviations or omissions in the bidding documents, prepare and issue questions to clarify the bidding documents.
- Contact suppliers to ask for prices of materials and equipment, check the technical compliance of the supplier's quotation with the technical requirements of the bidding documents, negotiate prices with suppliers to get the best price.
- Compare bid prices between suppliers, choose the bid price to apply (lowest price + meets technical criteria).
- Prepare and complete bidding documents with high accuracy, including the following tasks:
- Prepare BOQ Bill as required by bidding documents;
- Ensure compliance with technical criteria of bidding documents;
- Prepare material/equipment catalog as required by bidding documents;
- List of differences with the bidding documents;
- Propose discount options.
- Perform other tasks as required by superiors.
