Reporting line: General Manager or assigned financial officer
Income mechanism: Basic salary and performance-based bonuses, applied according to regulations and actual results, agreed upon from the outset.

LOCATION OVERVIEW
The general accountant is responsible for operating all internal accounting functions specific to an interior design and construction company. The focus is on controlling documents, accounts payable, and project expenses, ensuring that accounting data is complete, accurate, and readily available for reporting, settlement, and auditing.

MAIN JOB DESCRIPTION

• 1. Record all accounting transactions in accordance with regulations.
  Inspect and verify payment documents for receipts, expenditures, purchases, and services before making payments.
  Ensure that all documents are complete, valid, and reasonable before recording them in the books.
• 2. Update and monitor the import, export, and use of interior materials and equipment for each project.
  Control material costs within budget and contract limits.
  Gather information on materials and equipment for purchasing and implementation.
• 3. Monitor and compile actual costs for each project and contract package.
  Coordinate with Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor to verify quantities and conduct acceptance testing.
  Participate in calculating costs, recording revenue and cost of goods sold for each acceptance phase.
• 4. Monitor accounts receivable and payable by individual customer and project.
  Periodic reconciliation of accounts payable
  Managing advances, reimbursements, and controlling payment records.
  Perform revenue and expenditure management, control cash funds, and prepare payment requests according to established procedures.
• 5. Store accounting records, contracts, appendices, acceptance certificates, and supporting documents in a standardized structure.
  Ensure that all records are complete for verification, payment, and inspection purposes.
• 6. File VAT, personal income tax, and corporate income tax returns as required.
  Verify the validity of input and output invoices before filing the tax return.
  Compare accounting data and tax data.
• 7. Prepare documents for tax settlement.
  Coordinate with tax authorities or service providers during audits and tax settlements.
  Ensure expenses are recorded correctly to minimize the risk of being disallowed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in the construction or interior design industry.
• Understand how to gather costs, track projects, conduct acceptance testing, and determine pricing.
• Understand the basic regulations regarding taxes and accounting.
• Careful, disciplined, clear-cut, and responsible in your work.

Required: Excel, MISA accounting software

Priority: Proficiency in using tax filing software.
