JOB DETAILS: The General Accountant position is responsible for monitoring accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely data. The job also includes accounting for transactions related to accounts 131 and 331, and assisting with other occasional administrative tasks.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:- Accounts Receivable: Track customer accounts receivable by contract and invoice; update payment collection (cash, bank); periodically reconcile accounts receivable with customers; send payment reminders and monitor payment deadlines; report on due and overdue accounts receivable.
- Accounts Payable: Monitor supplier accounts payable; review payment records (contracts, invoices, supporting documents); prepare payment requests; reconcile accounts payable with suppliers.
- Accounting & Control: Recording transactions related to accounts 131 and 331; verifying the validity of documents; ensuring accurate and timely accounts receivable data.
- Support tasks (infrequent): Returning documents to the bank; assisting with invoice issuance; assisting with international money transfers; assisting with expense entry and inventory management.
REQUEST:- Graduated from college/university with a major in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Minimum 1–2 years in a similar position.
- Skill:
- Proficient in Excel.
- Proficient in using accounting software (MISA).
- Careful, honest, and responsible.
- Good communication skills (working with clients and suppliers).
