Job Position Description:
Report to the Head Chef the activities in the kitchen;
Monitor the preparation, quality and suitability of food to ensure that the dishes served by the kitchen are of the highest quality;
Responsible for placing orders, checking inventory, maintaining the quality of foods that go into the kitchen;
Responsible for daily menu planning, control meal serving time;
Periodically check the quality and taste of dishes according to the Chef's recipe and ensure that the staff in the kitchen strictly follow the recipe and food standards set by the Chef;
Update and recommend new recipes to the Chef;
Update the working schedule, supervise the implementation of the rules in the kitchen such as uniforms, personal hygiene of staff in the kitchen. Monitor time, working attitude of each employee
Requirements on qualifications and experience of foreigners:
At least 5 years of experience as a Chef in the position of Sous Chef in restaurants and eateries in China.
Have a knowledge of Chinese cuisine, have a passion for food, have flexibility and variations in cooking.
Language requirements: “Chef (Sous Chef)” is required to be fluent in Chinese, in order to be able to communicate, chat with customers and learn Chinese recipes.
