- Advise on the development of plans and content of quality management activities in hospitals that meet the criteria of the Ministry of Health and International Standards, and submit them to the director for approval;
- Organize, monitor, supervise, evaluate, analyze, report, coordinate and support the implementation of quality management activities and quality assurance and improvement projects at the departments;
- The focal point for synthesizing proposals to improve the quality of the work of improving attitudes, manners and working manners from departments to ensure work efficiency.
- The focal point to establish the error and incident management system, including detecting, synthesizing, analyzing, reporting and researching, and proposing solutions to overcome;

- Collect, synthesize, analyze data, manage and secure information related to hospital quality. Coordinate with the statistics and informatics department of the hospital to measure the hospital quality index;
- Deploy or coordinate in organizing training, coaching, training and retraining on quality management;
- Organize the internal quality assessment of the hospital based on the sets of quality management criteria and standards issued or recognized by the Ministry of Health;
- Assess compliance with regulations and professional guidelines of the Ministry of Health;
- Organizing the implementation of regulations and professional guidance in medical examination and treatment related to quality management
- Develop and implement safety programs for patients and medical staff.
